What motivated you to write the novel “In the Depths of a Man’s Mind”?

I was inspired by the concept of “We only use 10% of our mind capacity”. I wondered what would happen if we used more than that. The story revolves around this premise. But it also brings many elements of how Magic can be manifested in the physical machinations of the human body.

How long did it take you to write the novel “In the Depths of a Man’s Mind”?

It took approximately 3-4 months to write it once I committed to doing so. I had the idea and had written a number of chapters 10 plus years before but I stopped as life took me away from my creative pursuits. It wasn’t until I spoke with a book coach called Gail Tagarro that I was given inspiration to write the novel to completion.

Why now, what gave you the kick to write it now?

In 2020 I had some health issues and a significant recalibration of what life actually is. This changed my perspective on life and I realised that it could change in an instant. So I knew time was not ever lasting and so I decided to make a change. I took acting classes for a while and that helped me to realise that I could still do the creative things that fed my soul. Then the book idea came back to me.
