To everyone who stopped by my table at the festival this past weekend, thank you.
One of the greatest rewards of writing fantasy is meeting the people willing to step into a world that, until recently, existed only in my imagination.
This weekend, 35 new readers joined The Blue Thread, and I wanted to extend a personal welcome to each of you.
Whether we spoke about the books, the characters, or the worlds I've been building, I hope you enjoyed discovering a little of what lies beyond the pages.
And for those who downloaded the free chapter of In the Depths of a Man's Mind, I have a question.
What if everything you thought you understood about the story was only the beginning?
Two Squires. One Prophecy. A Kingdom on the Edge.
In the Kingdom of Neleuwen, magic and prophecy have shaped the lives of generations.
For Higant and Marcus, two young squires bound by a brotherhood stronger than blood, life has always been about learning, loyalty, and preparing for the responsibilities that lie ahead.
Under the guidance of the Prophet Vandrune, their futures seem destined to follow a familiar path.
But destiny rarely announces itself politely.
When King Frederick receives a troubling prophecy from an enigmatic mage, and a member of the royal court is slain by a mysterious blade, events are set in motion that will change the kingdom forever.
The two boys are torn from everything they know.
Their paths diverge.
Secrets buried for centuries begin to surface.
And an ancient power, long thought lost, threatens not only Neleuwen but the very fabric of time.
Are they destined to save their world, or destroy it?
If you've read the opening chapter, you've only glimpsed the world waiting beyond it.
In the Depths of a Man's Mind is the first book in The Truant Series, an epic fantasy journey of friendship, prophecy, sacrifice, and the extraordinary forces that shape our choices.
There are characters you haven't met. Secrets you haven't uncovered. And moments that may change how you understand everything that came before.
The full novel is available now.
